Hello and welcome to Meows & Makeup!
We’re so excited you’re here with us! This blog was a dream we had over a year ago so we’re thrilled to finally bring it to life and share it with you.
You probably have some questions like who we are and why we chose this name. As for who we are, you can read all about us here but the TL:DR version is we are two best friends with a beauty obsession and a lot of pets (6 cats and 2 dogs between us).
We’ve been friends for almost 10 years and in early 2019, we moved into a house together after each going through some major life changes. It was during this time we started dreaming of a blog where we could share all our fun makeup thoughts and crazy cat lady antics.
Enter: Meows & Makeup. Here is where we can share all our thoughts about makeup and beauty products as well as our passion for animals and animal rescue. But why exactly the name?
Meows & Makeup is a really good representation of who we are and what we love. It doesn’t encapsulate everything, or the name would be something like Meows & Makeup & Maps & Marketing & etc…… but it does really show two things that are important to us.
We love our pets and we love animals. We love makeup and the ability to express ourselves in that creative medium. And we really love when those things combine: we strive to use cruelty-free and vegan products whenever we possibly can.
So that’s us and that is Meows & Makeup. We’re so excited you’re here with us and we look forward to learning all about y’all as well! Stay tuned for more and watch us try out everything from new makeup to cool cat toys!
